an OpEd – unedited for AMERICA 250
DISCLAIMER: The following opinion editorial may be offensive to a majority of Americans across the current spectrum of politics and religion. I challenge christians and churches who have swallowed sweet scrolls of cultural agendas to taste bitter remorse for swallowing the seas of false gospels in which WE THE PEOPLE of Christ JESUS are surrounded and sinking.
Freedom and the American way
Few Americans truly know American history, have studied it in any more detail than the educational fairy tales of our founding or have WE THE PEOPLE even read our own Constitution AND Amendments OR even the Bill of Rights.
Furthermore,
WE THE PEOPLE who claim JESUS Christ (on behalf of our NATION) truly DO NOT read, study or apply the Bible to our own lives.
This is the obvious witness of a simple majority of elected officials representing BOTH political parties.
Many wear the transparent clothing of claim as christians or Catholics, as if endorsed by God for leading US into temptation.
WE represent a christian NATION of the UNITED STATES of America.
Seriously? Swear to god of our party and political idol of this election year?
WE are FREE, thank god.
God gives us freedom for ‘this.’
Jesus does ‘this’ for US.
Mary intercedes for mothers like ‘that.’
WE have earned a FREEDOM of religion and social conscience for US.
WE thank god almighty to have blessed AMERICA.
god bless AMERICA
WE THE PEOPLE of the church follow our political leanings like sheep led to the slaughter.
WE christians will follow the thinly-robed political preaching of our pulpits.
WE christians want to include race and reparation, inclusion and indecisiveness about sin.
WE claim it for our Sunday gatherings of christians and ALL others.
WE the church want to school our children in the American way of truths, injustices of our privileged ancestors and unlimited FREEDOM to choose rebellion in whatever WE don’t like.
WE the church want to sing nice (inoffensive) songs about US to the multitudes watching US online.
WE the church fight for truths, justice and the most tolerant American way to salvation.

Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?
By no means!
How can we who died to sin still live in it?
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
IS THIS THE WITNESS OF THOSE WHO WOULD LEAD US INTO TEMPTATION in the year of our Lord 2024?
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions.
For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed?
.. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What fruit do the leaders of our past offer US before GOD OUR FATHER and CHRIST OUR LORD?
