Previously, we questioned GOD about the three wives of ‘Father Abraham.’
CHAPTER 29
Genesis 24: 66 And the servant told Isaac all the things that he had done. 67 Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent; and he took Rebekah and she became his wife, and he loved her. So Isaac was comforted after his mother’s death.
“Isaac loved Rebekah, but did Rebekah love him?” For she later deceived her husband to bless Jacob over Esau, I thought.
HAVE YOU EVER DECEIVED YOUR WIFE, THOUGH SHE LOVED YOU?
I knew well the answer: more than once.
Then I thought less of how I had been deceived. I forgave, as I had been forgiven.
REBEKAH LOVED ISAAC. I PLANTED THE SEED OF MY PROMISES IN HER WOMB. REBEKAH ALSO LOVED ME.
Genesis 25: 22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If all is well, why am I like this?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 And the Lord said to her:
“Two nations are in your womb,
Two peoples shall be separated from your body;
One people shall be stronger than the other,
And the older shall serve the younger.”
24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb.
I LOVED ISAAC AS A MAN LOVES HIS ONLY SON.
ISAAC AND REBEKAH LOVED EACH OTHER AS ONE. ISAAC AND REBEKAH LOVED ME AS ONE. I AM THE LORD. I AM LOVE.
TO REBEKAH, WHOM I LOVED, I REVEALED WHAT MUST BE FULFILLED BY THEIR SONS. DOES A MOTHER NOT ALSO LOVE ALL HER CHILDREN?
