  • Explaining Christ’s Resurrection

    No Memorial for the Risen Body of Christ!

    How do you explain Christ’s resurrection and ascension?

    This week in the year of our Lord 2021, Americans celebrate Memorial Day, originally known as Decoration Day, a federal holiday observed yearly on the last Monday of May honoring those who died in war serving their country. Luke, however, could not write the Acts of the Apostles as a memorial to Jesus who is Risen from death.

    Luke’s record did not memorialize the eventual martyrdom of most Disciples and many Christian believers. Instead he writes about what Jesus did and confirms what the Lord taught to believers.

    .. about all that Jesus began to do and teach until the day when He was taken up to heaven.. To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering..
