I gave my life to Christ in 1969 but nobody mentored me. Consequently, I lacked discernment skills. I joined a cultic house church in 1971 and learned what I thought were advanced truths. Now I know that those teachings were blasphemous. I wrote how the Lord set me free in How I Was Razed: A Journey from Cultism to Christianity. Though You Slay Me

Job 13: ESV

15 Though he slay me, I will hope in him;
yet I will argue my ways to his face.

16 This will be my salvation,
that the godless shall not come before him.

He IS a personal God.

Nothing was more personal than the Sacrifice by the Father of His Only Son, Jesus Christ, on the Cross for our sins — your sins and my sins.

So when life challenges; get personal with our God and Father: PRAY.

20 Only grant me two things,
then I will not hide myself from your face:
21 withdraw your hand far from me,
and let not dread of you terrify me.

Christian Anger resource: How to Handle Adversity by Charles F. Stanley

I wanted to point you toward an additional resource I discovered from a recent study on Christian Anger. I have not read this entire book, yet recommend it with confidence based on the attached:
