    A Temporary Throne – 22

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. – Genesis 6:5 KJV

    CHAPTER 22

THE LORD confused the men who would make a name for themselves. Their babble was unintelligible to me (but I have never had understanding of other languages). When they confused the meaning of one another, they began to bicker and ultimately go their own ways. (Is it not also true of those of the same language?)

Yet I saw that men traveled to the ends of earth to ‘make a name’ for themselves.

God had remedied the result of the sin of the moment, but God could not cure the root of our original sin, that ‘the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth.’

And I saw their names and their aspirations on the tops of buildings and stadiums and on images of man, carved into stone and erected for the glory of men and not the glory of GOD.

The buildings gathered men to glorify men like Pharaoh and Caesar. Men gathered to worship idols and colossus of men great in their own eyes: men who are not GOD. Statue and structure, large and small, glorified man and beast and the desires of every imagination of man’s heart, which is only evil.

Buildings grew and strengthened with the knowledge of men, from the dust and water baked in God’s sun to the sand and ore of the earth forged in the heat of man’s own desire – desire to glorify the evil workings of his own sin-forged heart, which is only evil.

I saw names of men, and not GOD, men like: Washington, Eiffel, Rockefeller, Sears, Trump and many more. I saw buildings standing in pride to the glory of men I do not know; buildings for companies of men invested in speculation of empire of riches taken from men, the imagination of whose hearts is only evil.

The Lord showed me rise and fall of empire and building: from ancient Babylon and Thebes; to beyond London, New York, Taipei, and Dubai. All built to the glory of mankind, by secretive men and women, whose desires of their hearts from youth are only evil.

    A Temporary Throne – 21

     CHAPTER 21

Once more, I was carried above the clouds, above the heavens, and into the Place of the THRONE of GOD.

THE LORD walked to a Place near me and in the midst of the GLORY surrounding THE LORD, I was seated as another THRONE suddenly appeared.

For an instant I thought I beheld THREE THRONES in a PERFECT CIRCLE, ALL OCCUPIED BY THE LORD.

Then THE LORD SPOKE to me:

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I AM SEATED. I AM THE LORD.

In an instant, I was once more laying prostate and lifeless before the LORD.

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I AM STANDING. I AM THE LORD.

As instantly as I had appeared at the feet of the LORD, I was once more seated in THE THRONE and THE LORD stood facing me in Light of His COMPLETE GLORY.

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I GRANT MY AUTHORITY. I AM THE LORD.

Once more, THE LORD IS seated in THE THRONE near me, as ONE.

I AM THE LORD OF COMPLETE LOVE NEAR TO YOU, ROGER.

    A Temporary Throne – 20

    Previously…

I WILL TELL THEM ONCE MORE.

Genesis 9:7 And as for you, be fruitful and multiply; Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it.”

… I paused to consider God’s covenant with Noah and the few survivors for a cleansed creation.

    CHAPTER 20

God had once again given man a blessing. God had once again given man a command, Go into all the world (to rephrase from a later Word) … be fruitful and multiply… and whatever you do, DON’T kill each other.

Simple enough, Right? I had no better commands for Noah. Like in Eden, it was all dependent on obedience.

And as for Abel’s murder after Eden, God had also warned Cain about jealousy over blessing:

Genesis 4:7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.

All Noah’s sons and their wives and offspring had to do was to ‘do well’ by obeying the LORD God who had saved them.

As God reminded me of Genesis 9:11, the LORD showed me a building.

Genesis 11: “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

The people were NOT in many places, but crowded together into one city.

Disobedience! Just like in Eden. And furthermore, man in gathering together had set their hearts against God; for they had proclaimed:

Genesis 11:4 “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

We returned to THE THRONE of Heaven. It seemed I couldn’t command obedience from mankind; men and women wanting to ‘make a name for ourselves.’
