    A Temporary Throne – 12

    CHAPTER 12

The LORD then rose from His THRONE and approached me.

I remained where I stood, bowing my head in respect, smiling full of joy and trembling in awe, yet not fear – I cannot explain it.

The LORD spoke gently to me, FACE-to-face:

ROGER, HOW WOULD YOU HAVE ME JUDGE?

    “LORD, I do not know.”

    I WILL HAVE YOU KNOW.

And with this Command of God, once more I was taken up, as when I was picked up and set on my feet in this place.  I could not see or sense what being had such power over me, yet I was raised into the clouds toward the THRONE OF GOD.

The Power of the unseen spirits now lifting me lowered my form as my knees were yet held lifted. Then gently (even reverently), they settled my awestruck body onto the THRONE OF GOD!

“YOU BE THE JUDGE,” said the LORD to me.

JUDGE NOW RIGHTLY FROM THE THRONE OF HEAVEN.

    A Temporary Throne – 11

     CHAPTER 11

DO YOU LOVE THESE MORE THAN ME?

    I knew the answer…

YOUR SIN IS COVERED BY MY SACRIFICE. YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS MY OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

“Thank You LORD!” I thought from my heart; yet surly the LORD heard my thoughts, as I was now aware that the LORD had heard my prayers.

    YET SIN CANNOT BE UNPUNISHED.

Once again, in my thoughts (as I did not speak, but knew the LORD did hear):

“My sin? No. Her sin! … And his sins… and his and hers…”

As I thought, their faces came clearly to my mind. (The Lord would not have me reveal these to you by name.)

THEIR SINS AND WICKEDNESS REMAIN NAKED BEFORE ME.

Yes… For none had come to conviction or repentance for their separation from God. None would hear of Jesus Christ and the cross as reason to change their day to day lives. None would have anything to do with church or Christians or talk of righteousness through the Blood of Christ.

All, though they are beloved family members, live for the day, while denying the Day of their Judgment.  It is true of dear of dear friends as well. These remain unbelievers by choice – rebellion against God and more so against Jesus Christ.

Yes, I am a sinner, a terrible sinner; yet I lay my filthy sin before Christ’s cross.

I need His love now more than ever. I need Christ’s love for ever.

GOD SMILED, HIS EYES PIERCING ME WITH LOVE.

    A Temporary Throne – 10

    CHAPTER 10

I spoke my plea to the LORD, as I had done so many times before pled to Him through prayer:

“Lord, You know all things. May Your will be done… on earth, as it is in Heaven… Lord, in my life, may your will be done. All glory to You Lord, for Your Perfect Most-Loving Sacrifice for me…”

“Lord, would you not save my most beloved ones, for whom I pray? Lord, has your silence been due to my sin?”

“Is it because my witness of You, Lord Christ, does not further your Name? “

“Do You want these I love most to see only my sin and not Your Own Righteousness?”

(I realized that I had already said too much.)

The Lord’s answer to this forgiven sinner, who repeatedly falls far short of God’s will, might well fill my ears for an eternity.

DEAR ROGER, FOR THIS FAITH YOU STAND BEFORE ME.

If I had not been so surrounded by the glory and the joy of Heaven, I would have shed a tear, as often I do now.

When I think back on it, I now see clearly from this foreign place of our service to God, where sin is allowed: This is only UNTIL HIS RETURN to reign on earth, as it is in Heaven.

Christ has already promised this through His Revelation to John:

21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God, in the Person of Christ Jesus after His resurrection, has already revealed to John, His certain promise and completion of these last days in fulfillment of His Kingdom.

May His will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
