In the beginning, and through time…

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands; – Hebrews 1:10

    11 they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
12 like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
    But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.”

    Hebrews 1:

1Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

    Isaiah 49:

jesus the jew - a light to the Nations…5 And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength), 6 He says,

“It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant

    To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;

I will also make You a light of the nations

So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, To the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers, “Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the LORD who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”

    • Do you realize that the story of Christmas is the Redemption of Israel?
    • Do you see what I see, that the Messiah, born in a manger in Bethlehem of Judea, is a Light to the Nations?

    Luke 2:30-32

“.. for my eyes have seen your salvation
that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and for glory to your people Israel.”

In the year of our Lord, 2015, have you looked to the Lord for your salvation, to the Christ of ‘Christ-mas‘ as the redemption for your sins?

The Revelation of Jesus Christ to the Apostle John:

22:12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

For now we see in a mirror dimly but then face to face.

Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. – 1 Corinthians 13:12

John 1 English Standard Version (ESV)

    The Word Became Flesh

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Without here debating the nature and essence of the One true God; without here dissecting God’s purpose and relationships of each Person of the Trinity of the One God: let us examine the Person to person relationship of the LORD to a few historic real souls, men and women of flesh and blood in a relationship with the Living GOD.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Prior to the incarnation of God in the birth, death and resurrection of Christ Jesus, God met man in many times, in many places and in several ways. Yet man sins; in every time, in all places and in many ways.

Mankind sins again and again and yet again throughout the generations. Evil draws us further from the glory God has given to us; glory to worship the LORD in whose Image we are made.

Any reflection of the mind of man cannot conceive even a mirror Image of the LORD GOD, HOLY AND ALMIGHTY, a loving Father to all He created.

    John 1

    The Word Became Flesh

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

IN THE BEGINNING was Logos, and Logos was with Theos (God), and Logos was God!
Think of it: John the Apostle, by the Spirit of God explains creation – the Genesis, the beginning – in the understanding of Christ Jesus as both the spoken Word of God that caused all things to come into existence and as God Himself – The Existing One.
God, The Existing One, became flesh – a man like you or me – mortal, personal and with us (incarnate).
Christ Jesus IS the light of men. Christ Jesus, our Lord, IS the light, the only light that shines through this great darkness. It is the very Word of Jesus, God Incarnate, that is the Logos which created all before man was man and creation was created.
Logos matters. What you say matters. What God says matters above all. See the scripture as logos is used and consider once more: we are dust! Into our dead life, Jesus speaks and Life is given.
Speak well of Jesus, our Lord. He IS the Word. He is Logos.
Dark days and great darkness will once more be upon us; yet Christ our Lord IS and does assure:
I AM the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. – Revelation 22:13
    LOGOS! Christ Jesus IS LORD!
