    A Temporary Throne – 36

Previously: COME, ROGER. I WILL SHOW YOU THE LOVE OF TWO BROTHERS.

I KNEW ESAU AND I KNEW JACOB.

    CHAPTER 36

Genesis 25: 21 Now Isaac pleaded with the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his plea, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

22 But the children struggled together within her… 24 So when her days were fulfilled for her to give birth, indeed there were twins in her womb. 25 And the first came out red… so they called his name Esau. 26 Afterward his brother came out, and his hand took hold of Esau’s heel; so his name was called Jacob…

27 So the boys grew… 28 And Isaac loved Esau… but Rebekah loved Jacob.

The LORD then said to me words I knew from scripture:

JACOB I LOVED, BUT ESAU I HATED.

“Lord, I have never understood this.”

Romans 9: For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, 7 nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham… 11 (for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls), 12 it was said to her, “The older shall serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

I TAKE THE WORD OF A MAN SERIOUSLY… FOR BETTER OR WORSE.

ESAU SPOKE AGAINST ME TO JACOB. I AM THE LORD.

Genesis 25: 32 And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?”
33 Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.”
So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob… Thus Esau despised his birthright.

THE WORD OF A MAN IS ESTABLISHED UNTIL DEATH.
THE WORD OF THE LORD LIVES FOREVER.

    A Temporary Throne – 35

Previously: “Dear Rachel,” I cried out (for I was on earth).   I had heard her cry from a hill of Benjamin, at the moment Benjamin was born from her womb – a place of a little town of Bethlehem.

In case you missed the beginning of our M-F serial fiction which began 2 June: ATT Forward. Now continuing:

     CHAPTER 35

NO INTIMACY IS NEAR IN THE FLESH AS A MOTHER CONNECTED TO HER CHILD.

FROM THE CONCEPTION OF SEED SHE LIVES EACH MOMENT WITH HER CHILD FOR ALL TIME.

I LOVE JACOB. JACOB LOVES RACHEL. WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN.

“Jacob loved Rachel so much he worked to have her as his wife for seven years, then seven years again. When he finally had earned fair release from Laban to leave his Father-In-Law’s household, Jacob had only six more years with the wife he loved so much, because she died in labor.

    Lord, how sad.”

RACHEL’S LOVE IS NOT DIMINISHED BY HER DEATH.

I thought of my wife of twenty-two years who had died of cancer.

JACOB AND RACHEL WERE JOINED IN SPIRIT TWENTY YEARS AND JOINED ALSO IN THE FLESH AFTER FOURTEEN YEARS.

THE IDOLS OF LABAN’S HOUSEHOLD COULD NOT SERVE HER, YET I, THE LORD, HEARD RACHEL’S CRIES FOR THE SAKE OF HER HUSBAND, MY SERVANT, JACOB.

“Lord, You are merciful in showing love to those you love.”

Psalm 139: 13  You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.

15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.

16 You saw me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
    Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

COME, ROGER. I WILL SHOW YOU THE LOVE OF TWO BROTHERS.

I KNEW ESAU AND I KNEW JACOB.

    A Temporary Throne – 31

    CHAPTER 31

Gen. 29:18 Now Jacob loved Rachel; so he said, “I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.”  19 And Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man.

IT WAS NOT MY WILL THAT LABAN SHOULD GIVE EITHER DAUGHTER TO ANOTHER MAN.

JACOB LOVED RACHEL.  JACOB BECAME ONE IN THE FLESH WITH LEAH.

24 And Laban gave his maid Zilpah to his daughter Leah as a maid. 25 So it came to pass in the morning, that behold, it was Leah.

“Couldn’t Jacob have just been faithful to his one wife, Leah, and returned with her only?”

AFTER SEVEN YEARS JACOB MARRIED LEAH IN THE FLESH,

YET JACOB WAS ALREADY MARRIED TO RACHEL IN SPIRIT.

28 Then Jacob did so and fulfilled her week.

I HAD WILLED THESE FOUR WIVES TO JACOB FOR MY COVENANT WITH ABRAHAM.

THESE FOUR MARRIAGES HAD MY BLESSING.

YET OF JACOB’S WIVES AND CHILDREN, I GAVE MY HIGHEST BLESSING TO THE WIFE JACOB LOVED.

THEIR CHILDREN WERE TO RECEIVE THE FRUIT OF THEIR LOVE THROUGH MY BLESSING.

So he gave him his daughter Rachel as wife also. 29 And Laban gave his maid Bilhah to his daughter Rachel as a maid. 30 Then Jacob also went in to Rachel, and he also loved Rachel more than Leah. And he served with Laban still another seven years.

“Therefore, Israel and his four wives were fruitful and multiplied, as you had commanded man since Noah.”

SINCE THE BEGINNING, ROGER, MY COMMAND OF BLESSING TO ADAM AND EVE – TO A MAN AND A WOMAN OF BLESSING.
