    A Temporary Throne – 21

     CHAPTER 21

Once more, I was carried above the clouds, above the heavens, and into the Place of the THRONE of GOD.

THE LORD walked to a Place near me and in the midst of the GLORY surrounding THE LORD, I was seated as another THRONE suddenly appeared.

For an instant I thought I beheld THREE THRONES in a PERFECT CIRCLE, ALL OCCUPIED BY THE LORD.

Then THE LORD SPOKE to me:

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I AM SEATED. I AM THE LORD.

In an instant, I was once more laying prostate and lifeless before the LORD.

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I AM STANDING. I AM THE LORD.

As instantly as I had appeared at the feet of the LORD, I was once more seated in THE THRONE and THE LORD stood facing me in Light of His COMPLETE GLORY.

THE THRONE OF HEAVEN IS WHEREVER I GRANT MY AUTHORITY. I AM THE LORD.

Once more, THE LORD IS seated in THE THRONE near me, as ONE.

I AM THE LORD OF COMPLETE LOVE NEAR TO YOU, ROGER.

    A Temporary Throne – 14

    CHAPTER 14

    Paradise? Eden? (Even before ‘adam?)

Genesis 2:8 The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

“Should the LORD plant the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?” I asked myself.

I had never thought of the connection of my sins to this (really) or of any alternative.

What if man never knew sin?

(Of course God and I knew what Adam and Eve would do IF the LORD planted this tree.)

    What would I advise?

Should the LORD GOD set this one tree in the midst of the garden – a tree to be used by the tempter, that serpent whose name is Satan?

What IF the LORD did not give Satan this chance at original sin?

“LORD,” I asked, “If you withhold temptation of man to know good and evil would it not be better for Your Kingdom on earth?

Yet as I asked the LORD my foolish question, I knew the answer:

THEN THE MAN IS NOT FREE TO LOVE ME.

THE MAN WOULD SERVE ME BECAUSE HE MUST.

I understood God’s dilemma: One tree; then One Command.

Obedience to God’s Command is love given freely to God. Disobedience to God’s One Command would be putting our own will ahead the loving ALL-KNOWING will of God.

I nodded, and THE LORD commanded the tree to grow. The tempting fruit of knowledge blossomed from its branches before my knowing eyes.

    A Temporary Throne – 11

     CHAPTER 11

DO YOU LOVE THESE MORE THAN ME?

    I knew the answer…

YOUR SIN IS COVERED BY MY SACRIFICE. YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS MY OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS.

“Thank You LORD!” I thought from my heart; yet surly the LORD heard my thoughts, as I was now aware that the LORD had heard my prayers.

    YET SIN CANNOT BE UNPUNISHED.

Once again, in my thoughts (as I did not speak, but knew the LORD did hear):

“My sin? No. Her sin! … And his sins… and his and hers…”

As I thought, their faces came clearly to my mind. (The Lord would not have me reveal these to you by name.)

THEIR SINS AND WICKEDNESS REMAIN NAKED BEFORE ME.

Yes… For none had come to conviction or repentance for their separation from God. None would hear of Jesus Christ and the cross as reason to change their day to day lives. None would have anything to do with church or Christians or talk of righteousness through the Blood of Christ.

All, though they are beloved family members, live for the day, while denying the Day of their Judgment.  It is true of dear of dear friends as well. These remain unbelievers by choice – rebellion against God and more so against Jesus Christ.

Yes, I am a sinner, a terrible sinner; yet I lay my filthy sin before Christ’s cross.

I need His love now more than ever. I need Christ’s love for ever.

GOD SMILED, HIS EYES PIERCING ME WITH LOVE.
