The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John

    A Temporary Throne – 10

    CHAPTER 10

I spoke my plea to the LORD, as I had done so many times before pled to Him through prayer:

“Lord, You know all things. May Your will be done… on earth, as it is in Heaven… Lord, in my life, may your will be done. All glory to You Lord, for Your Perfect Most-Loving Sacrifice for me…”

“Lord, would you not save my most beloved ones, for whom I pray? Lord, has your silence been due to my sin?”

“Is it because my witness of You, Lord Christ, does not further your Name? “

“Do You want these I love most to see only my sin and not Your Own Righteousness?”

(I realized that I had already said too much.)

The Lord’s answer to this forgiven sinner, who repeatedly falls far short of God’s will, might well fill my ears for an eternity.

DEAR ROGER, FOR THIS FAITH YOU STAND BEFORE ME.

If I had not been so surrounded by the glory and the joy of Heaven, I would have shed a tear, as often I do now.

When I think back on it, I now see clearly from this foreign place of our service to God, where sin is allowed: This is only UNTIL HIS RETURN to reign on earth, as it is in Heaven.

Christ has already promised this through His Revelation to John:

21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

God, in the Person of Christ Jesus after His resurrection, has already revealed to John, His certain promise and completion of these last days in fulfillment of His Kingdom.

May His will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.

    A Temporary Throne – 6

     CHAPTER 6

    PRAYER:

    An interlude of refreshment…

Matthew 11: 27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The LORD told me to close this book for a moment of rest. Prayer is rest. Prayer is refreshment. The rest is the same as the rest for which Hannah gave thanks to the Lord for returning her strength. It is by God’s answer that we receive the rest of God.

PRAYER is the conversation between a PERSONAL GOD, with the man of His Creation. PRAYER is more than asking: PRAYER is LISTENING to GOD.

Revelation 14: ESV “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

I pray to God: for you, personally. [Let us pray: …]

  • The Gospel of the Kingdom – 2

The Gospel of the Kingdom – 2

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

    • “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 5:3
    • “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. – Matthew 5:10

    Your kingdom come,
    your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

    Matthew 6:12

    • “… But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. – Matthew 6:33
    • “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. – Matthew 7:21

Returning to the witness of the Gospel by Stephen, for a moment, and a thread of Scripture between Moses and Jesus:

    Acts 7:

35 “This Moses, whom they rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’—this man God sent as both ruler and redeemer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush. 36 This man led them out, performing wonders and signs in Egypt and at the Red Sea and in the wilderness for forty years. 37 This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers.’

38 This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our fathers. He received living oracles to give to us. 39 Our fathers refused to obey him, but thrust him aside, and in their hearts they turned to Egypt, 40 saying to Aaron, ‘Make for us gods who will go before us. As for this Moses who led us out from the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’

Was not Christ Jesus, Redeemer of the world from our sins, rejected in this same way?

Then for our sin, He became the Very Sacrifice before God the Father for our sins!

Jesus proclaimed the Good News for sinner at the beginning of these last days. Jesus will proclaim the Day of the sound of the Trumpet at the final hour of these last days.

    His Kingdom come.

    His will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven.

“I and the Father are One.” – John 10:30

“Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. – John 14:9b

    Matthew 24:

3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.

5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains…

27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

The Coming of the Son of Man

29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man,

and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn,

and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call,

and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other…

    “Even so, come Lord Jesus.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

    Revelation 22:20b-21 KJV
