    Meeting Together

    one white sheep
We know you are NOT like us, but welcome back to our church. We missed you.

    Hebrews 10

25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

    26 Dear friends,

if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.

27 There is only the terrible expectation of God’s judgment and the raging fire that will consume his enemies.

     John 10:14,27

“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me …

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

     James 5:

    The Prayer of Faith

13 Is anyone among you suffering?

    Let him pray.

    Is anyone cheerful?

    Let him sing praise.

14 Is anyone among you sick?

Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

    The-Sacrificial-Lamb-Josefa-de-Ayala-ca-167019 My brothers,

if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back,

20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

     Luke 15:

4 “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do?

lost sheep on shouldersWon’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders.6 When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’

7 In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!

Could you hear the Voice of our Good Shepherd?

Would you come back to His church, dearly beloved?

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

  • Atheist or worshiper?

    Atheist or worshiper?

What is the difference between YOU and an atheist?

We can talk about Jesus Christ to some, but does He really make a difference in your life?

Do you worship Jesus as LORD on Sunday?

Do you cherish your relationships with other Christians?

And other than that mere hour on Sunday, do YOU look at life any different than the worldly who do NOT believe in God?

For the atheist – by Roger Harned

    Your matter doesn’t matter.

    Never mind your mind.

My soul sees who God has made.

    Your soul touches mine.

    Hebrews 10:

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.

25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.

    Psalm 95:6-7

Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the LORD our maker,

    for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over,
    the flock under his care.
If only you would listen to his voice today!

My soul seeks your soul, dear brother, dear sister in our Lord Christ Jesus.

Let us gather together in thankfulness.

See you Sunday, my fellow saints, as we gather as His church.

  • Lift High the Name of Jesus

Lift High the Name of Jesus

Christian music can lift you up during the week when you are down. Lift high the Name of Jesus in your daily life.

Hymns, worship music, and praise for Jesus Christ can be an important part of your Christian Social Witness.

Do you buy Christian music and play it in your car? (Or does the driving dissonance of worldly songs fill your ears during your dismal worldly week?)

Keith & Kristyn Getty Irish singer/songwriters and recording artists Keith & Kristyn Getty are among the preeminent modern hymn composers of this generation.

Best known for “In Christ Alone” (penned by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend), the world-renowned hymn has been recorded by numerous artists over the past decade—including Owl City, Natalie Grant and Newsboys—and is a classic sung in churches around the globe.

Keith and Kristyn Getty talk of Jesus through the lyrics of their modern hymns. I have had the pleasure to hear the Getty’s perform live in worship and praise.  I look forward to their upcoming US tour beginning September 29, 2013 in San Diego, with performances throughout the US concluding in November with stops in NYC, Allentown PA and the Grand Ole Opry.
