Understanding COVENANT
בְּרִית
Strong’s H1285 – bᵊrîṯ
.. then you shall say,
‘It is a Passover sacrifice to the LORD because He passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians, but spared our homes.’”
And the people bowed low and worshiped.
Exodus 12:27 NASB20
וַיִּקֹּד הָעָם וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּֽוּ׃
Exodus 24:6 Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.
Then he [Mōšê] took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,
“All that the LORD has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”
24:7
וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה נַעֲשֶׂ֥ה וְנִשְׁמָֽע׃

Jesus gave it to them saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the new
covenant which is being poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.
