73 Your hands have made and fashioned me;
give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.

(And the Lord said to Isaac, son of Abraham even before the Law of Moses:) Genesis 26:4-5 KJV And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
74 Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice,
because I have hoped in your word.
Have you ever considered that only those who fear the Lord (the beginning of wisdom) will rejoice when they see you, because you have come to know Christ Jesus and rejoice in the word of the Lord? This is the hope and joy of Christian fellowship, our relationship in the Lord. Be comforted in the attacks of the evil ones of the world and the powers of evil we neither see nor understand.
75 I know, O Lord, that your rules are righteous,
and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76 Let your steadfast love comfort me
according to your promise to your servant.
77 Let your mercy come to me, that I may live;
for your law is my delight.
78 Let the insolent be put to shame,
because they have wronged me with falsehood;
as for me, I will meditate on your precepts.
79 Let those who fear you turn to me,
that they may know your testimonies.
Is the righteousness of your life witness of the love of Christ Jesus? Is your whole heart and living testimony blameless?
80 May my heart be blameless in your statutes,
that I may not be put to shame!
