Your contentious claim boasts, “I am SELF-suffient,” to an empathetic soul seeking to touch your heart of life-hardened stone.
“A good God would never bring disaster into my path.” so you claim. You know what they say, “Life is short and then we die.”
Why would I worship any god who makes MY life so hard?
Introduction to ‘a Saviour’
Jesus addressed disasters we hear of, i.e. earthquakes, collapsed buildings, political murders; just like those we actually encounter in everyday mortal life. Take the Lord’s explanation of a collapse of the tower of Siloam, for example.
As Christ and the Prophets of God have often warned and instructed, so shall I. Weigh the eventuality of some of Israel’s disasters once again.
TODAY, please reconsider our Saviour once more from a SERIES I published back in 2018 of this Common Era.
Disaster From Disobedience, A Savior From Before Eden
In my 8-part SERIES from June of 2018 I began with the historic disasters of the Jews. The word of the LORD through the Prophets warns and recalls Scripture from the LAW of Moses and history of the Hebrew people.
Today in my reedit of this significant history we will begin with some KEY definitions for our mutual understanding, followed by a brief visit to Eden.
Do I even need a Saviour?
Most of the time.. we do not..
(or so we try to convince ourselves).
Some christians say that we do need a savior.. and that WE can call up God anytime WE want.. who will save us from our disaster of the day.
Really?
(What about those killed at Siloam or executed by Pilate?)

Who is a savior willing to die to SAVE our lives so engaged in our worldly day to day living?
A savior for some saved for a time..
though all will at some time die?
— Who IS a Saviour sent to die for your sin and rebellion against God — a Saviour from the flames of hell, o creature from dust?
A Saviour

What is good?
The LORD is good to all:
and his tender mercies are over all his works.

there is none good G18 but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life,
keep the commandments.
- LORD, Lord
Although we will not list the many meanings of the English word: 'LORD' or 'Lord' including lord, master, sir and many more from both Hebrew and Greek, please note their usage (generally linked) in this SERIES. - RH
- save – yāšaʿ in Hebrew – יָשַׁע
- verb, properly, to be open, wide or free, i.e. (by implication) to be safe; causatively, to free or succor – source

The LORD SAVES!
JESUS SAVES!
GOD IS... JESUS IS... yes.. We creatures all need a Saviour…
Saviour or Savior?
Note: Saviour is an earlier English spelling of Savior, which the New Testament uses to describe Jesus Christ from its Greek root for "one who saves,' earlier translated, Salavatore in Latin.
Talk of JESUS .com utilizes several English translations of the Bible in order to preserve the impact of the original Scripture or to clarify its meaning in contemporary terms. – RH
Before .. Eden ..
GOD !
Next, we will continue with our SERIES originally entitled, Disaster From Disobedience; but first a quick look at Creation from our SERIES cover.

Somewhere beyond this Earthrise lies Pleiades and the Milky Way, small lights beyond this solar system illuminating Eden each night, a place for adam once perfectly created on earth.
The Gospel of Creation
according to Moses (Genesis) & the Apostle John
READ: GENESIS [Bereshit (בְּרֵאשִׁית)] 1-3 in you favorite translation of the HOLY BIBLE.
I will note the verses from the COVER ILLUSTRATION above.
אֱלֹהִים רֵאשִׁית
IN THE BEGINNING GOD [rē’šîṯ ĕlōhîm]
In the beginning was the Word [logos], and the Word was with God [theos], and the Word was God.
Genesis 1:1a, John 1:1
.. God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
No life on a small planet – not even a star – in the vast and measureless sky…
And the Spirit of God [rûaḥ ĕlōhîm] moved upon the face of the waters.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Gospel of John 4:24 KJV – the words of JESUS
Do you see it?
From the beginning, we witness a Triune God! ALL of this, before Eden… and before original sin.
Adam [‘āḏām] אָדָם
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ..
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
Genesis 1:26a,27 KJV
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,
Genesis 2:7 KJV
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became
a living soul.

And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food;
the tree of life also in the midst of the garden,
and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
YET from BEFORE the BEGINNING, the Lord God knew that adam’ would desire to know that which is better obeyed in obedience to the true Word of his (or her) Creator.. that like some angels disobedient to His providence and grace, our desires of self-will would lead to listening to the lies, “Did God really say…?”
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the LORD God {YHWH Elohim} had made. And he said to the woman,
“Did God really say,
‘You⁺ must not eat from any tree in the garden?
