To do righteousness and justice
You may know the VERDICT.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Perhaps you carry GUILT from practicing its wickedness in your past.
However..
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation
(that is, a substitutiary atoning sacrifice, a covering of your sins by His righteousness..)through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance
[a toleration by His mercy]of God;
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

- Will the Judge actually pronounce a DEATH SENTENCE against the guilty?
- DOES GOD EXECUTE punishment on a city or nation as JUSTICE for all?
We learned last time from Moses and from Abraham that the LORD will judge the guilty;
yet He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.
The issue for the Christian, however, turns out to be a cunning elusion by the anti-Christ’s of our Common Era to ‘humanipulate‘ Jesus saying to mean that we cannot (and should not) judge sin.
Judge not, that ye be not judged.

WHAT should WE judge?
What does perfect LAW prescribe?
And WHO does JESUS judge?
Who Judged according to the Law of Moses?
Take note, beloved able men of Christ's Church.
So they judged the people at all times; the hard cases they brought to Moses, but they judged every small case themselves.
Exodus 18:25-26 NKJV
WE asked ourselves, my fellow followers of Christ:
Are the loving disciples of Jesus not His own children and servants?
Are we not in Christ adopted as sons and daughters of God our Father waiting to obediently do His will — pausing to listen to the Word of His only Son and obey the leading of the Holy Spirit?
they judged every small case themselves.
Are WE, as disciples and children of Christ Jesus not capable of doing that ourselves?
JESUS’ case for judging others (after judging ourselves) speaks to our obligation as disciples or followers of our Lord and Master, proclaiming the Gospel to all the world so opposed to Him.
Matthew 10:
When the Lord Jesus sent out the Twelve (first to the Jews and later to all the world) how did He instruct their evangelism of the Gospel?
“Look, I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as serpents and as innocent as doves.

And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart.
Here now, is our personal relationship with fellow saints established, a loving Christ-like relationship between new believers under true teaching authority of the Apostles and the Word of God.
You might call these new believers in each new town a church – as in Acts of the Apostles after Jesus’ resurrection.
FIRST, instructs JESUS, “find out who is worthy”
As you enter the house, greet it.
Jesus’ instructions in Mat. 10:12
Who invites you, beloved sojourner?
Who sees you as Christ’s ambassador to this world, welcomed into their home, into their everyday lives, and into the secret places of their stumblings so similar to the familiar sins of our own daily lives?
“Why do you look at the splinter in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the beam of wood in your own eye?
Jesus has already cautioned the crowds in the Good News of Matthew 7:3 CSB
Dear apostle sent out by Christ into all the world,
do WE hold our judgment of another’s sin, while first and silently discerning our own?
Listen as the Lord Jesus instructs disciples, followers claiming His Name (His kingship):

WE, the people of the Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, must JUDGE.
Christ followers must judge wisely, just as the LORD through Moses had instructed individuals to judge ‘every small case themselves.’
The world-worshiping, self-focused souls who cross our path will exhibit cunning and snake-like motives as those estranged from the LORD and unbelievers of the Lord Christ Jesus.
Is this HOUSE of my dear friend or relation worthy of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross for their sins as well?

but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Rejecting Christ (and not you) – Personally
What if the HOME in this world of one you love greatly rejects JESUS?
The Lord’s instructions here and throughout the Gospels is clear:
And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.
The Spirit of God, holy and separated from all sin, will judge.
Like those lost in Sodom, remember you are dust…
for they will perish as certainly as the evil towns of Sodom and Gomorrah..
and be JUDGED to eternal fire along with their angelic father of false light and failing hope.
Ashes to ashes… dust to dust… all mortals.. dust.
.. separated from the LORD to be remembered no more…
deliver us from the evil one
deliver us from death..
Matthew 6:13 :
In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus instructs His followers to pray,
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”
This petition highlights the need for divine protection against the malevolent influence and attacks of Satan.
Therefore, JESUS instructs His true followers in HOW TO JUDGE.

- and few there be that find it.
- Beware of false prophets
AND Christ Jesus has warned those who would CLAIM His Name:
- “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
- but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Shall not the Judge of all the earth do justice?”
This was the question of Abraham to the Angel of the Lord.
Yet when the Son of Man was confronted by evil judges as to His own authority to judge, JESUS gives a chilling answer.
Gospel of John 8:
You judge according to the flesh; I am not judging anyone. But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me..
Then He said again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.”
“You are from below, I am from above. You are of this world, I am not of this world.
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins.
For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.
“Who are You?”
“What have I been saying to you from the beginning?
I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I am saying to the world.”
“When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and I do nothing from Myself, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me. And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.”

Eternal and Ever-lasting!

JESUS was..
before Abraham.. before Moses.. before David…
WHEN the Son of Man said that He JUDGED NO ONE, the incarnate Lord Jesus had not yet suffered and died for the sins of man — He had not yet ascended to the Throne of the Father and the Judgment Seat of Heaven!
AND
When JESUS returns to JUDGE all the living and the dead, HE will judge sin and have mercy on those who believe in Him, those who do His will now.

How does JESUS Judge since HE has ascended to the Judgment Seat of HEAVEN?

Perfect Eternal Justice
Justice, a central theme in the Bible, reflects God’s character and His expectations for human conduct. God’s justice is inherent in His nature. He is depicted as the ultimate judge who administers justice with righteousness and impartiality.

In the New Testament, justice remains a key theme, particularly in the teachings of Jesus.
The early church also emphasized justice, particularly in caring for the poor and marginalized.
Eschatological Justice
The Bible promises ultimate justice in the eschatological future, where God will judge the world with righteousness.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John 20:
The following excerpt of the White Throne Judgment taken from various translations.
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life.
The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.
.. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire...
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth,

for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away…
What must WE do?
Is your NAME recorded in the Book of Life?
Will the Lord Jesus recognize YOU for your witness of His redeeming Sacrifice for our sin?
Judge for yourself. And judge yourself — full well knowing that this fleeing earth and diminishing flesh will not last…
Jesus Christ is Lord!
